Gretchen DeKnikker. has been launching and growing enterprise SaaS startups and platforms since way back in the last century. She also and infrequently write a blog called Enterprise is Sexy ('cause it totally is). She previously cofounded SocialPandas, launched LivePerson's (LPSN) Apps Marketplace platform and was an early employee at Genius.com (acd by CallidusCloud), EchoSign (acq by Adobe), and Revere Data (acq by FactSet).

Basically, Gretchen rocks and has a lot of experience in marketing SaaS companies. I think you'll love this episode.

Shira Abel interviews Yigal Roos, the Founder and CEO of Brandbox.io - an interactive media SaaS company. They talk about how Brandbox was born out of a marketing agency, what changes happened organizationally to make that work, and how the company had it's first burst of growth.

Yigal has a passion for, and professional background in music production; currently enjoying listening to luminaries such as Brad Mehldau, Fela Kuti, Thelonious Monk, Laura Mvula, and yeah, he also love Drake.

Paul is a successful technology executive who has run services, customer success, account management, support and product management.

He's a firm believer that culture eats strategy for breakfast, and business culture can be built through storytelling. Always have been a leader with a strong focus on sales and customer engagement.

Previously Paul helped lead Eloqua (marketing automation) as part of the executive team from $0 to over $100 million in revenue, through IPO and a successful acquisition for $957 million by Oracle.

Now co-founder and CEO of Nudge, Paul is focused on helping business people build and grow the right business relationships from their large network of weak connections.

He has a passion for building great teams and products that help customers grow their businesses.

This week Shira talks with Joshua Pines, an American who lives in London. They talk about how Joshua is using partners to grow his SaaS company.

Joshua Pines has spent nearly 20 years on the business side of the technology industry. He is a co-founder and the head of corporate development and marketing for Sirenum, a workforce management SaaS platform based in North London. Previously, Josh was a marketing executive at Medidata Solutions, the leading provider of cloud-based technology to the life sciences. He has also held marketing, product, and strategy leadership roles for organizations such as IBM, Gerson Lehrman Group, and JFL Media. As well, he has been a management consultant with both Deloitte Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, focused on strategy, technology, and new product innovation. A published photographer and frequent public speaker, Josh also regularly consults with investment firms on their technology investments. He holds a BA from Brandeis University and an MBA from the University of Miami. A South Florida native, Josh is an avid cook and likes to play basketball and travel with his family. He is co-president of the Brandeis University Alumni Club of Great Britain and is a member of the board of Shomrei Hadath Synagogue in West Hampstead, where he lives with his wife and twin daughters.
